Carmen & Dan Roma Wedding

Rocky River, Ohio - July 2017

WOW! What a wedding! This was an absolute first for me as far as weddings go. This was my first Romanian/Serbian wedding and what a hoot it was! The day was filled with so much activity and I loved every minute of it! The day started at 9am with the ladies at Robert Patrick Salon in Rocky River, Ohio, with the spirits flowing and hair and makeup being arranged to the absolute perfect arrangement these ladies were ready to be out on the town! My other two photographers started at 10am in Strongsville at Dan's parents home in Strongsville, Ohio. These fellows looked sharp by the time the limo came to pick them up.

The ceremony took place at Buna Vestire Roman Orthadox Church, a small but beautiful church. I had the liberty of witnessing new customs that I had never seen before during my past ceremony sessions and it was enjoyable to witness another approach to marriage.

The main photos took place at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens and we couldn't of asked for a more beautiful day or setting to make them happen! Carmen is an absolute stunning bride and fit every setting we placed her in so naturally it was hard to choose a best photo. Dan of course had no problem portraying the role of the cool groom, he has a natural smile that will make any lady blush, which I'm sure has caught Carmen a time or two. I hope this place is a continued location for photo shoots for me, the gardens are so beautiful.

Lastly we ended the night at St Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, and this was by far the best reception I have been to yet, hands down. I have never seen so many smiling, laughing, and dancing people ever in my life in one location! A live band kept the festivities flowing until Midnight and were still going when I left! The food was fantastic and kept coming, I'm pretty sure pizza was delivered around 11pm also for a midnight snack. My favorite part of course was the 40ft...yes I said 40ft!! table of deserts that everyone took a to go box home with them loaded with homemade cakes, pies, cookies, and whatever else your sweet tooth desired. Also Carmen would not let me leave until I took a box (or two) home myself and I had no problem with that.

Dan & Carmen, I truly did have a terrific day with you two and I wish you the best for the future and I really hope this isn't that last time I get to enjoy the company of you both. Thank you again for allowing me to be a part of your special day!!!
